Inlaks @ IAF 2020

The Foundation was once again generously invited to participate at the India Art Fair. This year the artworks of the five 2020 Fine Art Awardees, Amrita Barua, Ankur Yadav, Devika Sundar, Sandeep TK and Swagata Bhattacharya, were on display in the Auditorium.

Rohini Devasher introduces the awardees

On February 1st,  we hosted our annual Fine Art Award Ceremony at the Auditorium. The evening begun with a screening of we are opposite like that by Himali Singh Soin (Dhaka Art Summit, 2016). This film was produced for the Frieze Artist Award in collaboration with Forma and Random Acts. The screening was followed by a discussion between Himali and Pallavi Paul (Fitzwilliam Museum, 2017).

This year the artists were introduced by Rohini Devasher (Fine Art Awardee, 2008) and India Art Fair director Jagdip Jagpal presented them with their award.

IAF proved to be a wonderful platform via which the Foundation was able to share the incredible practices of the emerging Indian artists.
