Applications Open: HH Art Spaces, Goa, 2018
Inlaks India Foundation and HH Art Spaces invite artists to apply for a one month residency at HH Art Spaces, Goa, with the opportunity to work alongside and be in dialogue with the eminent Maya Krishna Rao.
ABOUT THE RESIDENCY
HH is an artist-run residency space established in October 2014 in Goa by artists Romain Loustau, Madhavi Gore and Nikhil Chopra. HH is housed in an old Goan-Portuguese Villa, in Arpora. In its current avatar, it is home to several artists in transition from large cities in India as well from the international artist community, who visit and stay for the space, time, and an increasingly critical audience. The essence of HH Art Spaces is to be a space for reflection, inspiration and creation; a place where artists come together, meet, make and share their ideas, processes, experiments and collaborative efforts with each other and the community.
HOW TO APPLY
Applying artists’ practice should be connected with the Live Arts and/or concerned with the politics of the body. The residency will be dialogue, research and practice based. Each artist will be required to develop new work. They can work independently or collaborate with resident artists. The residency will culminate in an Open Studio Day on the 27 April 2018, when the studio doors are open to public.
