Applications Open: Mahler and Lewitt Studios Residency

Here is a call that would interest artists and curators alike. Inlaks along with the Mahler and Lewitt Studios are offering a five week long residency at the Mahler and Lewitt Studios in Spoleto, Italy.

The Mahler & LeWitt Studios is established around the former studios of stone sculptor Anna Mahler, daughter of Gustav and Alma, and the seminal conceptual artist Sol LeWitt, who both lived permanently in the town for many years. The residency program provides a focussed and stimulating environment for artists and curators to develop new ways of working in dialogue with peers and the unique cultural heritage of the region.

The Mahler & LeWitt Studios residencies value personal space for creative reflection whilst also encouraging in-depth and dynamic working relationships to evolve between peers and an engagement with the region. A rich network of professionals - artists, gallerists, art historians and curators - in Umbria and internationally are brought together by the program. Each residency is facilitated in response to an individual’s needs and interests.
