Gasworks Residency Recipient 2018: Jithinlal N R
Jithinlal N R is the 2018 Gasworks Residency recipient. His practice is informed by the observations he makes of his surroundings. Through his art he wants to highlight the disparities within our society and force people not to ignore social atrocities such as violence, discrimination, rape, murder etc.
During his time in London he hopes to study the British black art movement. This will give him an opportunity to further articulate the various of ways in which one can represent the self and others.
