Happy New Year!
The start of a new year fills us with nostalgia and wonder at all that our scholars, awardees and grantees have achieved. It also bring with it a sense of anticipation of what’s to come. 2016 has been a whirlwind and we expect no less from 2017.

On February 8th we will be welcoming our Fine Art Awardees for 2017 at G5A. With Anupam Sah as this year’s keynote speaker it promises to be an interesting evening.
Sohil Bhatia will be beginning his month long residency at Heritage Hotel in Goa on January 15th. More about him and his practice will follow soon!
Our resident at the Attakalari Center for Movement, Meghna Bhardwaj will be performing as a part of FACETS 2017 in February. If you're in Bangalore do try and catch her performance.
Looking at the accomplishments of the year gone by Anagha Bhat, Indian Music Awardee 2015, had many successful concerts this year.
Priyesh Trivedi, Gasworks Resident 2016 spent his time in London exploring the cultural and anthropological story of Acid House (a sub genre of House music). Learn more about his time in London in an interview with the British Council. (Link below)
